LATE SUMMER FARM TOUR:
August 22, Monday night from 6:30-8:30 (alternate rain date of Aug. 23) One class $8.
This class has the same description as the early summer tour. However, things rapidly change in the garden throughout the season as well as control methods. We will also see when to harvest many kinds of vegetables at their peak. Refreshments served afterwards.

FALL FLORAL CLASS:
September 13 from 5:30-8:30 One class $24. I have this class starting earlier, but running for 3 hours, plan to spend at least 2 hours. We got kinda crowed last year and it started to get dark by 8. So come early if you can. Plan to make a wreath, swag or arranged vase/pail of dried florals to last all year! There will be group and individual instruction. Bring your own containers/vase if desired. Last year we ended up in my kitchen till about 11 pm! Fun. =)

FLORAL DESIGN CLASS

Earthworks Gardens master flower grower, weed puller, flower picker and designer, Diane Selly, is offering 'Floral Design' classes to teach you how to make those big lush bouquets that you have seen at the Food Coop or the Mankato Farmers Market.

Enjoy watching me create 6-10 different floral designs before your eyes! Then I will assist you in making one in your own vase to take home with you.

What will you learn? The main principles of design work, balance, unity, color, line, form etc.
